Brent Randall

I had the lovely and talented Brent Randall in to sing a song called "DON'T WAKE HER UP" this week. I produced Brent Randall's full-length album that will hit stores in January, so be a dear and watch for it, because it will knock your effin' socks off.
Here is a link to his lovely and talented myspace page. www.myspace.com/brentrandall

New Interview

Recently, a warm and kind gentleman by the name of Eric Warncke interviewed me for his wonderful pop music blog. Follow the link THIS IS POP

Still Alive

Hey everyone,
First off, I want to apologize for being so negligent with blogging and keeping people updated as to the goings ons of the heavy blinkers. I know that I have promised 100 times that the new album HEALTH will be on shelves soon. The truth of the matter is that the band has had a major roster change over the past few months, and as a result, I have been concentrating on building up the band again with new people. Over the past year, I have been busy with producing, and writing for theatre blah blah blah, and my focus is once again 100% on the blinkers and the new album, and I WILL keep people updated. Thanks to everyone who has been emailing their well wishes, and I promise you that the album will be worth the wait. Well, there is a good chance that it will be worth the wait. I find that these sorts of eagerly anticipated albums are seldom worth the wait. Having said this, I will do my best.
Above is an image of me recording the album. I am the ultraman character getting schooled by that drill-nosed shark egg-plant that represents the album.

TOUR PICTURES AS THEY HAPPEN

The tour continues...... Above are pictures of us in british towns such as Carlisle, Blackpool (coney island on acid), Hartlepool. The crowds have been very attentive and the people are very kind. The picture of the red car is us driving into Scotland. We had breakfast in Lockerby and went shopping at the Salvation Army. We have the day off tonight and tomorrow we will be playing in Swindon. We are full of tea and Coronation street and we have heard that there is snow home...which we don't miss one bit.
Check out our BBC interview and live recording at the following link

the shire and brighton

hey guys,
We played Glossop the other night and aside from it being a cancerquarium, the show went very well. The people were sweet and the we went to the world's only indian/ol' english pub while we were there. Last night we played Brighton at a great place called PRESSURE POINT. After soundcheck we went to a vegetarian burger place called Grubbs. You have not lived until you have had a peanut butter/pineapple/banana veggie burger. After that we went to a vegetarian/vegan pub called George's and had some tea. The show went very well despite a small turnout. Jenn did a little solo set and she was brilliant. After the show, we drove to the english channel and then danced to Billie Jean in the car. We have the day off today and tomorrow we play in London with the legendary Sean O'Hagan.
